Meet our student ambassador

Kris

Hi, I’m Kris from Level 3 Film, Videography and Photography.

I work as a freelance gig photographer, mainly as a resident photographer for the band Heartstrung, while also using my skills as a bass and guitar player to be a guitar technician. Generally, you can find me all around the college, but mostly in the media lab and the music areas. Feel free to ask for help with anything you might need to do with Access Creative College Lincoln.

Some useful tips on

How to

find us

  • Buses terminate in Lincoln, with routes from the major market towns in the area: Grantham / Newark / Gainsborough / Market Rasen / Horncastle / Sleaford / Scunthorpe / Grimsby / Spilsby. There are interconnecting buses between villages, and these market towns, and a Call Connect bus scheme also operates from many more outlying villages.
  • Both the train and bus stations are approximately a 7-minute walk from the Lincoln campus.
  • Train routes both run through and terminate at Lincoln Station. Main train routes are from Boston (via Sleaford) / Grimsby (via Market Rasen) / Grantham & Nottingham (via Newark) / Sheffield (via Gainsborough & Retford) / Doncaster (via Gainsborough & Retford).
  • Both the train and bus stations are approximately a 7-minute walk from the Lincoln campus.
  • There are numerous car parks in proximity to the campus, as well as free short-term parking slots and ‘side’ street parking.
  • Lincolnshire County Council currently run a subsidised Student Transport scheme for anyone who is studying and living within the authority boundaries. This is currently prepaid directly with the County Council, and is approx £200 per term, which can be a notable saving on many bus & train routes.
